Marcel Meili and Markus Peter founded their architectural office in Zurich, Switzerland, twenty years ago, and have recently opened a subsidiary in Munich, Germany. Meili Peter develop projects of all scales and in many different fields and with a vast variety of programmes, rather than specialising on certain types of buildings and tasks. Urban planning and complex constructive solutions have become an emphasis of their work, though. This first comprehensive monograph on Meili Peter's work presents their buildings as well as unrealised projects, concepts and ideas. The richly illustrated and elaborately designed book combines texts, images, plans and drawings, forming a compendium of Meili Peter's architectural practice. It also includes external views on their work with essays by renowned international fellow architects, such as Adolf Krischanitz and Hermann Czech (Austria), Josep Lluis Mateo (Spain), the acclaimed architect and civil engineer Jurg Conzett and by the well known architectural photographer Heinrich Helfenstein (Switzerland).
