फिर वह राज सिंहासन के नीचे आकर छोटे सिंहासन पर बैठ गया। बंदी जन विरुदावली कहने लगे। ब्राह्मणों ने मंगल-पाठ पढ़ा। तब महारानी ने खड़ी होकर अपने पति का लिखा पत्र सुनाया। पत्र मार्मिक था। सबने इस समय अपने पुराने शासक मानमोरी की प्रशंसा ही की। फिर पुरोहित सत्यनारायण कुछ कहने के लिए खड़े हुए—“श्रद्धेय महारानी; मान्य अतिथिगण और प्रिय मित्रो; आज बड़े हर्ष का दिन है। पूज्य महाराज मानमोरी का स्वप्न आज पूरा हो रहा है; वह भी महारानी की उपस्थिति में। प्रिय भोज का पराक्रम; उसकी प्रतिभा; उसका शौर्य; उसकी प्रजाप्रियता आप से छिपी नहीं है। युद्ध से जीतकर लाया हुआ सारा धन उसने आप सब में बाँट दिया। इससे अधिक प्रजा के प्रति उसका प्रेम और क्या हो सकता है। मेरा पूरा विश्वास है; वह सदा अपनी प्रजा को पुत्र की भाँति मानेगा। उनका दु:ख दूर करेगा और प्रजा भी उसे अपना ‘बाप्पा’ (पिता) समझेगी।...हम इस पवित्र अवसर पर इसीलिए उसे ‘बाप्पा रावल’ की उपाधि से विभूषित करते हैं। आज से यह हमारा भोज नहीं; बल्कि हमारा पूज्य ‘बाप्पा रावल’ है।”
