I am Ismael Munch. My Maa Maa, Diane Ashley-Barlow, wrote this story about me. The first thing I remember was being very, very frightened - and very cold. But, Maa Maa took me into the kitchen of her farm house where she kept me safe and warm. As I grew I realized I didn't know who I was. Was I like Maa Maa? No, couldn't be like her--I had too many legs, or was I like Old Miat the cat? Old Miat told me no, but I could find out who I was by listening to the many mouths on the farm. So I searched and listened and searched and listened to many animals on the farm, but no one looked or sounded like me. Follow Ismael on his adventures at Maa Maa's farm until one day he discovers who and what he is! This story that Maa Maa has written is for children of all ages.
