14 members of the National Time Standard Agency go back in time to 1963 to videotape the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Only 13 make it back to the present time.A secret government agency uses recently developed and (well, almost) perfected technology to travel back in time to Dallas in 1963. Karen O'Neil and a team from the Agency are there with specialized equipment to videotape the assassination of John F. Kennedy in an attempt to prove once and for all who shot the President. Strict guidelines at the Agency forbid the new tool from being used to alter the past. The flashback to Dallas goes well until suddenly the team discovers that one of the crew members has has chosen to walk away from the flashback and stay in 1963; but why? The team can not stay in 1963 to find out. They must return to the present without their missing crew member. Up and coming Air Force Officer Trent Tucker is chosen as the replacement crew member. As he and the rest of the team at the government Agency try to discover why one crew member decided to stay in 1963 they discover that the defection has changed history in a way that resulted in the death of tens of thousands of people in the Middle East. Now they must go back to 1963, find the crew member and try to convince him to return to the present time to avoid the change to history.Going back in time turns out to be the easy part. Can Trent avoid being caught by the CIA, who really doesn't want the question answered, and avoid injury for himself and the rest of his team?
