It is my sincere hope that this book honors the sacred Passion of Our Lord while helping readers experience the mercy of His Love in their own personal sufferings, as well as experiencing the anguish of the Sorrowful Mother in a way that helps the reader lessen their own anguish through acts of humility. This visual spiritual guidebook embraces the Passion in a place with a devotional atmosphere while selflessly walking in the sufferings within the historical roots of Notre Dame's storied past. It is my hope readers are joined and strengthened by the shadows of the cross and find useful lessons from personal interpretations of the images or spiritual inspirations guided by Our Lady.
