The mission of CPHI is twofold: to foster a better understanding of factors that affect the health of individuals and communities, and to contribute to the development of policies that reduce inequities and improve the health and well-being of Canadians. [...] Factors Considered to Have an Impact on Health According to the CPHI survey, when participants were presented with a list of factors that might have an impact on the health of Canadians through a series of closed-ended questions, environment and personal health behaviours were rated relatively higher than social and economic factors such as income and community support.
