The technology arm of Canon Inc. continues to grow; with the launch of new products and services each financial year. In early 2016, the company released another in its line of PowerShot SX cameras. The newest release comes in the form of the PowerShot SX720 HS camera. The new release serves as an upgrade to the previously released SX700. It carries a number of the features from its predecessor while boasting a number of novel upgrades. The SX720 HS is a compact camera designed to for ease of use while on the go and is ideal for use in both amateur and professional settings. 

Among the features to be enjoyed by users of the PowerShot SX720 HS camera is subject-tracking auto focus capabilities, face detection, self-timer, Smile Shutter and digital zoom capabilities of up to four times the original size. The camera also boasts the new DIGIC 6 image processor, CMOS sensor with 1.4-inch depth and 20.3 megapixel of resolution, pop-up flash, automatic white balance application, shooting programs and special effects for customized photos and videos.
