📖 The Scoop
Building on the work of Hunter and Fox, Slocum, Tseng and others, Scarecrow Press now offers the working cataloger and the library science student this new album. Since the Library of Congress officially implemented AACR2 in 1981, the authors have combed through tens of thousands of LC cards, looking for examples that illuminate the rules themselves and their published interpretations. They have assembled over 1,100 examples and arranged them by rule number, making this largest compendium of AACR2 examples published to date. The features of the card that illustrate the rule are underscored, the rule number added, and the entire card reprinted. Footnotes explain LC's choice of alternative rules. With detailed topical and author/title indexes.
Genre: Education / General (fancy, right?)
