Overcoming Struggles of the Christian Life

Life is not always fun; yes, there are good times, but it is peppered mostly with tough times and struggles. As Christians we would like to believe that our lives should be more trouble-free than non-Christians, and yet, that is unfortunately mostly not the case. Why is that? After all, we are children of a loving Father who only desires to bless us. The reality is, all humans are exposed to the same stresses of life, Christian or not. Unfortunately, as Christians, we have not been taught or come to fully understand and therefore not incorporated God's means whereby we can live in this life of stress in peace. This is not to say we will not face trials, because we will; it is to say that in the struggles we can truly rest in Him and see their purpose. This book identifies seven areas that most Christians seem to struggle with, even those that grew up in church, and then offers practical action steps designed to promote the Christian walk through this crazy life and thereby helping the reader be more effective in life and therefore the work of the Kingdom. Many Scripture verses are quoted throughout to let the reader know God has provided answers. In addition, the appendix contains numerous projects for the reader to better implement the concepts covered in the text.
