Das in Freiburg ansässige Aktionstheater PAN.OPTIKUM entwickelt seit 30 Jahren Inszenierungen im öffentlichen Raum. Unter Leitung dieses freien Theaterkollektivs wurde 2015 das internationale Projekt "Power of Diversity" ins Leben gerufen, das Hip-Hop-Musik mit theatraler Praxis verbindet. 30 junge Darsteller spielen in verschiedenen Städten und bilden ein zeitgemäßes europäisches Ensemble. Dieses Buch dokumentiert in Bildern und Texten das außergewöhnliche europäische Projekt aus vielfältigen Blickwinkeln, gibt Einblicke in den Produktionsprozess und weist dabei auch auf die spezifischen Situationen in den verschiedenen Städten hin. The Freiburg-based action theatre ensemble PAN.OPTIKUM has been creating performances in the public space for thirty years. The international "Power of Diversity" project, which was started in 2015 under the direction of this free theatre collective, combines hip-hop music with theatrical practice. Thirty young performers play in various cities – from Great Britain to Russia and from Norway to Spain, forming a contemporary European ensemble. This book documents this extraordinary European project from many angles in images and words, provides insight into the production process and outlines the specific circumstances in the various cities.
