This report describes soils in an area covering about 32,500 hectares of selected agricultural lands and immediately adjacent forested lands in Moncton Parish, south-eastern New Brunswick. The text of the report provides technical information on soil and land surface properties and rates suitabilities of the mapped soils. It includes a general description of the map area, description of soil classification and surveying methods, a key to the symbols used in the accompanying soil map and to soil association parent materials, and details of the general characteristics of the soil associations mapped. Finally, soil capabilities for agriculture and for selected crops and management practices are noted. Appendices include morphological descriptions of soils and a glossary.
