YEARS 7 - 12Jacaranda Society and Environment Atlas Worksheets provide 80 photocopiable masters designed to enhance the teaching of outcomes from all five strands in the Studies of Society and Environment (SOSE) learning area. Each worksheet links directly with specific pages in Jacaranda Society and Environment Atlas. A number of outline maps have also been included to allow teachers to be flexible in their use of the worksheets.All but four of the worksheets address a key outcome from the SOSE strands of Time, Continuity and Change, Place and Space; Culture; Resources; and Systems. The remaining four worksheets focus intensively on the process skills of investigation, communication and participation, although these skills have been integrated throughout all worksheets. As outcomes are explored, students are directed to the extensive range of supporting resources in Jacaranda Society and Envirnoment Atlas , and are provided with further resouces and activities on each worksheet.
