Hoyt Murragh is a well-built, rangy man with good features and an expression that verges on the sardonic. There are plenty of laugh lines surrounding his grey eyes, but looks can be deceiving. Though he’s an all-around nice guy, and plenty smart, Hoyt can shoot with the best of them – and it’s a good thing because there have been a series of holdups on the stages carrying payroll satchels. There are some who want the murderous thieves to be caught – and other who will stop at nothing to make sure that doesn’t happen. William Colt MacDonald wrote nearly seventy Western novels, and many short stories. Between the years of 1932 and 1945, dozens of films were based on MacDonald’s Western fiction -- many of them starring popular Hollywood cowboy actor Tim McCoy.
