The Gospel History is one of the most important interpretative works of St. Theophan, which occupies a special place in Russian spiritual literature. This is a guide to the Holy Gospel - the main Book leading to salvation. The entire earthly life of the Savior is described in detail by the author in the words of the holy evangelists in chronological order.
